Jaime Merritt has significant litigation experience representing insurance companies in matters involving insurance fraud, misrepresentation in the procurement of insurance coverage and disclaimer of coverage. Jaime also represents insureds in a wide range of general liability matters involving personal injury and property damage. She counsels clients with respect to scope of coverage, extent of liability and litigation strategy.
During law school, Jaime served as an Editor of the Art and Entertainment Law Journal. Upon graduation, she was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Donald J. Volkert, Jr., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County.

- Represented insurer in rescinding policy due to fraud and misrepresentation
- On behalf of insurer, specifically defeated insureds summary judgment motion demanding coverage
- Protected reinsurer’s interests in criminal investigation of Producer conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigations
