Gale White Partner

Gale White represents major property and casualty insurers and smaller regional insurance companies on a national and regional basis. Her practice includes representation in state and federal courts, as well as significant experience in private arbitrations. She has a broad range of experience in complex litigation, including commercial litigation, insurance litigation, coverage and bad faith.  She has handled coverage and bad faith cases involving complex and emerging issues, including construction defect, intellectual property, antitrust, ERISA, successor liability, educator's legal liability and professional liability.

Gale is Dean of Coverage College®, a firm-sponsored annual event that brings together more than 400 insurance professionals to discuss emerging issues and trends in the insurance industry.

She was a faculty member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel’s Litigation Management College, held yearly at Northwestern University, from 1997 through 2004 and served as the Dean of Curriculum for 2005-2006. Gale is also former chair of the Insurance Coverage and Life, Health & Disability Sections.

She is also a member of the Lawyers for Civil Justice, a group that invites only 50 lawyers from across the country to its membership.

Gale has published and lectured extensively on insurance and related issues.

Recognition & Involvement

In 2011, Gale was recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Pennsylvania by Law & Politics magazine. Lawyers on this list received the highest point totals in a peer review process. She also received this honor in 2007.

Since 2005, Gale has been selected in a survey of her peers as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics magazine.   Gale has also been AV® rated by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating system.
