Edward T. Fisher Associate

Edward Fisher focuses his practice on business litigation, representing companies and individuals in a wide range of commercial disputes.  He has extensive experience litigating complex commercial matters such as securities litigation, antitrust litigation and ERISA benefits disputes.  He has successfully argued matters in federal and state courts, as well as private arbitrations. 

Prior to joining White and Williams LLP, Edward was a corporate attorney at Dechert LLP in Philadelphia, where he gained valuable insight into how corporate deals are negotiated and structured.  He draws on this experience in his commercial litigation practice, particularly in the Securities Law Practice Group.

Representative Matters

• Represented national bank in successful defense of declaratory judgment action brought by commercial real estate developer; a judgment of over $8 million was entered in favor of the national bank for breach of the loan agreement.
• Represented national engineering firm in dispute stemming from the purchase of certain assets of another company, defending claims based on fraudulent transfer and successor liability theories.
• Represented former employees in multiple arbitrations against large, international transportation fuel provider in ERISA dispute concerning denial of severance pay under employee benefits plan.
