Chris Ballod represents businesses of all sizes in trial and appellate level courts throughout the region.  He has defended power companies, contractors and manufacturers in matters involving major property damage and catastrophic injuries caused by exposure to toxic substances, construction accidents and the improper use of industrial products.  Chris has also represented insurers in coverage and bad faith matters in federal and state courts.  His diverse experience even includes one of the first “virtual property” lawsuits in the nation.

Prior to joining White and Williams, Chris served as a judicial clerk for President Judge Emeritus Stephen J. McEwen, Jr. of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

During law school he served an externship with the Honorable Allan L. Tereshko, then Supervising Judge of the Complex Litigation Center in Philadelphia, and worked as an intern for the Honorable Joseph D. O'Keefe.  He also served on the board of the Widener Law Symposium Journal law review as an Articles Editor, and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.

Chris also serves as the editor of Court Crier, the firm's weekly e-news alert, which analyzes significant appellate court decisions.
