Ashanti Monique Crawford Associate

Ashanti Monique Crawford represents individuals and corporate clients in a wide variety of matters involving litigation and arbitration between commercial entities, including reinsurance coverage disputes, libel and defamation actions, unfair competition claims, disputes over trust accounts, slip and fall actions, and a variety of contract disputes. 

During law school, Ashanti served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Timothy S. Savage in the United States District for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania .  She was an octo-finalist in the Villanova Law Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition.  Ashanti was also a member of the Villanova Law J. Williard O’Brien American Inn of Court, President of the Black Law Students Association, Treasurer of the regional Mid-Atlantic Black Law Students Association, and Co-chair of the Villanova Third-Year Giving Program. 

Representative Matters

• Obtained a $1.06 million verdict for a construction company and its owner in a defamation and false light case
• Obtained a $2.55 million verdict in an unfair competition case involving two Philadelphia-based companies and stromboli
