Tony Salvino practices exclusively in the area of workers' compensation and represents self-insured employers, third party administrators and insurance companies in all aspects of workers' compensation defense work. 

Tony is a frequent lecturer and presenter on workers' compensation subjects as well as a frequent author of many articles in the area.  He has appeared on numerous occasions on the television program, Law Journal, presenting the perspective of the employer in Workers' Compensation matters.

After law school, Tony clerked for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court.

Tony is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association committee for Appellate Selection of Judicial Candidates in which he has led investigative panels to help determine the appropriate rating to provide to judges, and individuals who aspire to be judges, throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Representative Matters

  • Lead counsel for the employer in Judith Ortt v. PPL, No 2085 CD 20074, a case in which a leading business journal noted was one of the most important workers' compensation cases in the 2005 term of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court

Recognition & Involvement

Since 2007, Tony has been selected in a survey of his peers as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics magazine.  He was named a "Super Lawyer" by the 2009, 2010 and 2011 "Pennsylvania Super Lawyer', Corporate Counsel edition.

Tony is a Commissioner on the Upper Macungie Planning Commission. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Valley Youth House which provides prevention and intervention services, counseling, life skills and behavioral health services to abused, neglected and homeless youth and their families. Tony and his wife, Pamela Kelley, were the chairs of the 2011 Catholic Charities Gala for the Archdiocese of Allentown. 

Tony has been elected to the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors for the 2011-2012 term.
