The Private Equity Practice Group represents clients in connection with transactions involving private equity funds and their portfolio companies.

Our experience includes the structuring and formation of entities for private equity investments, private company mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, distressed and bankruptcy acquisitions, PIPEs transactions, and venture investments. We also have extensive experience in capital finance transactions involving private equity funds including capital call bridge facilities, management company facilities and mezzanine financing.

Our representations cover a wide variety of industries including service companies, real estate development projects and financial institutions.

We advise clients in all aspects of private transactions, including structuring and negotiating acquisition transactions, structuring and negotiating acquisition and corporate financings, providing transactional and general corporate advice to portfolio companies and structuring and negotiating dispositions of investments.

While our private equity practice is part of the firm's Business Department, we also draw upon the resources of our 225+ attorneys practicing at White and Williams LLP, including those attorneys in related areas such as tax, environmental, employee benefits and labor, intellectual property and real estate to provide our clients with comprehensive services.
