The lawyers in the Labor and Employment Practice Group work with our employer-clients to minimize the risk of lawsuits by current or former employees, and to effectively defend those claims that are brought.  By reviewing personnel policies, drafting internal procedures, and providing timely advice on a day-to-day basis, we help our clients comply with the ever-changing federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Our experienced trial lawyers are also ready to defend a wide variety of the claims that employers face: wrongful discharge, discrimination, wage and hour infractions, OSHA violations, ERISA claims, noncompete agreements, etc.  In addition, we are experienced in both union avoidance and in dealing with unions, including collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.
