Gary P. Biehn, Chair of the Business Department and head of the China Business Practice Group has participated in several trade missions to China and is a member of the Mid-Atlantic District Export Council. He was recently appointed to the Board of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia. Mr. Biehn is regularly asked to speak on issues relating to business in China and global transactions generally. Mr. Biehn's international experience also includes serving as lead counsel in significant international business transactions throughout the world. Chunsheng Lu, an associate in the Business Department, is fluent in Chinese and is licensed to practice law in both China and the United States. Dividing his time between two offices - Philadelphia and Shanghai, Mr. Lu is able to represent corporations seeking to do business in China and elsewhere overseas with the drafting and negotiation of international contracts. Mr. Lu regularly assists clients with the establishment of joint ventures and wholly owned foreign enterprises, as well as other equity transactions. Mr. Lu has frequently presented at seminars to the World Trade Center China Operations Club and has taken part in many China-related symposia, including the Wharton Global Business Forum and the CPEIF. Recently, he was invited by China's Ministry of Commerce, World Trade Organization Committee to participate in a conference in Beijing on China's first Antitrust Law. |
