An August 13, 2008 fire originating at the Stables at Millennium construction site in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania destroyed two apartment buildings at the adjoining Riverwalk at Millennium apartment complex. The market insurers for the Riverwalk at Millennium complex retained White and Williams LLP to investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding the fire and pursue subrogation claims against the culpable parties. The investigation disclosed that several entities were responsible for causing the fire. Subrogation Department partner Chris Konzelmann brought claims against those parties and with the assistance of a mediator resolved the matter for $27,187,500.00 within fourteen months of the fire.
