White and Williams Adds Partner and Counsel; Opens New Office in BostonAddition of David B. Chaffin & Sarianna T. Chaffin and Sarianna T. Honkola to its Commercial Litigation Department. With the addition of Mr. Chaffin, partner, and Ms. Honkola, counsel, White and Williams opens an office in the heart of Boston's financial district. It is the Firm's tenth office. "The addition of David and Sarianna, both experienced litigators in Boston, furthers our goal of expanding our commercial litigation services," said Guy Cellucci, Chair of the Commercial Litigation Department. Mr. Chaffin brings over 25 years of experience to White and Williams. His practice involves commercial disputes, intellectual property disputes, environmental matters, employment disputes, and real estate matters. Mr. Chaffin graduated cum laude from Amherst College and received his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. During law school, he served as an editor of, and was published in, the Duke Law Journal. Before joining White and Williams, Mr. Chaffin was a partner at Boston-based Hare & Chaffin. He was previously associated with Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York City. "Having worked closely with many of the lawyers at White and Williams, I have a great deal of respect for the Firm's abilities and integrity. I am honored to be joining the Firm," said Chaffin. Joining Mr. Chaffin is Sarianna T. Honkola. Ms. Honkola is a graduate of Colgate University and a 1989 graduate of Boston University School of Law, where she served as a member of the Law Review. Prior to joining White and Williams, Ms. Honkola was associated with Hale and Dorr, Edwards & Angell and Hare & Chaffin. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia.
