Mr. Maniloff is a partner in the Commercial Litigation Department.  He concentrates his practice in the representation of insurers in coverage disputes over primary and excess policy obligations for various types of claims, including construction defect, mold, general liability (products/premises), environmental property damage, asbestos/silica and other toxic torts, director's and officer's liability, professional liability/medical malpractice, media liability, first-party property, homeowners, community associations, public official's liability, police liability, computer technology liability and managed care.

Mr. Maniloff is a frequent contributor of articles to Mealey's Litigation Report: Insurance and FC&S Bulletins, among other publications, addressing a variety of insurance coverage topics.  For the past seven Januarys, Mr. Maniloff has published an article in Mealey's that addresses the ten most significant insurance coverage decisions from the year just completed. 

Mr. Maniloff is also a frequent lecturer at industry seminars and has been quoted on insurance coverage topics by such media as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Dow Jones Newswires, Associated Press, A.M. Best, Business Insurance, National Underwriter, Insurance Journal, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Times-Picayune and The National Law Journal.

Mr. Maniloff previously spent seven years at Christie, Pabarue, Mortensen and Young, including serving as Chair of the firm's Insurance Coverage Group.  Before that, Mr. Maniloff spent four years as counsel to Professional Travel Insurance Company, Ltd., a Gibraltar-based insurer conducting business primarily in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Maniloff received his B.S., with distinction, in 1988 from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. in 1991 from Temple University School of Law.  He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.  In 2006 and 2007, Mr. Maniloff was selected in a survey of his peers as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics magazine.
