Mr. Balaguer is a partner in the Litigation Department and the managing partner of the firm's Delaware office.  The focus of his practice is complex litigation including the representation of defendants in medical malpractice and other healthcare related cases, insurance and real estate agent liability matters and insurance coverage disputes.  Mr. Balaguer also handles product liability, toxic tort and construction and premises liability matters.

Mr. Balaguer attended Allegheny College and received his B.A. from the University of Delaware in 1981.  He received his J.D. with honors from the Widener University School of Law in 1985.  He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Mr. Balaguer is a member of the Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute and Defense Counsel of Delaware.
