Mr. Moring is a partner in the Litigation Department and Managing Partner of the Allentown office. He focuses on commercial, insurance, and bad faith litigation.
Mr. Moring's civil trial practice concentrates on life, health and disability insurance litigation. He provides insurance coverage opinions as well as extensive litigation experience in property and casualty claims. Mr. Moring has represented several hospitals and their staff physicians in medical malpractice litigation in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Having previously served as a Law Clerk to the United States Court of International Trade and Trial Attorney for the United States Department of Justice in the international trade section, Mr. Moring advises clients on the enforcement of the customs fraud statutes.
Mr. Moring received his A.B. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs of Princeton University in 1979. He received his Master of Science in Politics and Government of Western Europe from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1980. He obtained his J.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1983. Mr. Moring earned a Bronze Star as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard while serving in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
