Ms. Kocher is a partner in the Appellate Practice Group.  She focuses on appellate litigation and consultation in diverse practice areas, including medical negligence, products liability, insurance coverage, premises liability, and public school code matters.  These services include shepherding cases through the complex post-trial/appellate process, in-depth research and analysis of appealable issues, and the assessment of chances for success on appeal.

Ms. Kocher has produced publications, amicus briefs, and presentations on subjects including the Daubert/Frye standards, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and the fundamentals of appellate practice.

Ms. Kocher received her B.S.L.A. from Georgetown University in 1985 and her J.D., cum laude, from Villanova School of Law in 1992.  Before joining White and Williams, she clerked for the Honorable Sandra Schultz Newman of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Honorable George T. Kelton of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.  Ms. Kocher is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Ms. Kocher is also admitted to appear in the local federal district courts, the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.  She is a member of the Appellate Courts Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association and Chair of the Amicus Curiae Brief Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
