Mr. Roessing is a partner in the Litigation Department and Managing Partner of the Berwyn office. He focuses his practice on health care litigation.
Mr. Roessing has over thirty years of experience in the area of health care law. He has successfully handled a broad range of health care litigation matters including medical staff issues; personnel matters; anti-trust and contractual issues in addition to defense of medical professional liability matters. He has been invited to lecture on areas of health care law to hospitals, health care systems, physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. Mr. Roessing is also on the faculty of the MBA program of DeSales University where he teaches the course entitled The Law of Health Care Administration.
Mr. Roessing received his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1972 and his J.D., cum laude, in 1976 from Temple University School of Law, where he served as an Editor of the Law Review. He is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Mr. Roessing is a member of the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as the Philadelphia, Delaware County and Chester County Bar Associations. In 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007, he was selected in a survey of his peers as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics magazine. Mr. Roessing has been AV rated by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating system.
