White and Williams Welcomes New Lateral Partners

PHILADELPHIA – White and Williams LLP welcomes two lateral partners: Ryan T. Warden, who has joined as a Partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department and will be practicing in the Labor and Employment Practice Group, and John G. Loughnane, who has joined as a Partner in the Business Department and will be practicing in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group and the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice Group. “The addition of Ryan and John to our firm’s Partnership demonstrates our continued commitment to the strategic growth of the firm, and in particular the growth of our Labor and Employment and Corporate and Securities Practice areas,” said Andrew Susko, Managing Partner, White and Williams LLP.  “Ryan in Philadelphia and New Jersey and John in Boston are outstanding additions, and we are very excited about the client service excellence we know they will bring to these important practice areas of the firm,” Susko added.

Ryan T. Warden’s practice focuses on the defense of employers against wage and hour, wage payment, and prevailing wage claims, including those asserted in class and/or collective actions. His experience includes representing employers across a wide array of industries, ranging from small, family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies. “Ryan brings a great energy to his practice representing employers in connection with countless compliance investigations by state and federal departments of labor” said Tom Fiddler, Chair of the Commercial Litigation Department at the Firm. In addition to his litigation and government investigations practices, Ryan frequently works with clients on employment law issues and partners with clients in the development of compliant policies and procedures, including arbitration agreements. “I am very happy to join White and Williams LLP, where I will continue to focus my practice on wage class action defense and audit work, while now being able to service virtually any client legal need,” commented Mr. Warden. Ryan is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law with an LL.M. (High Honors), and J.D. (Honors), and Ursinus College. He is based out of the firm’s Philadelphia office.

John G. Loughnane’s practice focuses on providing clients with guidance in navigating a range of both business opportunities and obstacles, including issues involving the potential or actual financial distress of transactional counterparties. Mr. Loughnane commented, “I am very pleased to join White and Williams. My focus on providing practical, value-driven business solutions to clients is completely consistent with the firm’s long-standing and robust practice across many industries and jurisdictions.” John represents clients including secured parties, investors, unsecured parties, debtors, official creditors’ committees, trustees, vendors, licensors/licensees, officers and directors. John offers clients his broad exposure to a variety of industries including clean energy, commercial real estate, financial services, health care, education, hospitality, housing, life sciences, manufacturing, retail, and technology. “John brings great perspective and versatility to our transactional-based practices, particularly in the distressed debt space,” said Tim Davis, Chair of the Firm’s Business Department. A graduate from The George Washington University Law School, J.D., with honors, and the College of the Holy Cross with an A.B., John is based out of the firm’s Boston office.
