Nancy Conrad, Partner and Chair of the Labor and Employment and Education Groups and Managing Partner of the Lehigh Valley office, was featured in State of the Lehigh Valley: Community Trends at a Glance 2018-2019 C-Suite Executives and Gender Balance section. The report includes results of The Lehigh Valley Women's Leadership Survey, given to recipients of The ATHENA Leadership Award. Nancy was the 2006 recipient for her achievement in professional excellence, contributions to improving the quality of life for others in the community and active assistance to others, particularly to women, in realizing their full leadership potential.

The Lehigh Valley Women's Leadership Survey was created to answer relevant questions related to Lehigh Valley women's representation in the C-Suite. Nancy considers finding "the right balance between being a strong, assertive leader and an inclusive, collaborative leader" essential. She explains that "[she] continue[s] to find ways to respond with the right words and establish a presence to distinguish [herself] in a way that commands respect and the proper place and voice at the table." The full survey results and feature of Nancy are available here.

The State of the Lehigh Valley is a report published annually by the Lehigh Valley Research Consortium that showcases consortial faculty research on the quality of life in the Lehigh Valley region. In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote, the 2018-2019 edition highlights successes and challenges for women in the region.

Nancy represents businesses, educational institutions and nonprofit organizations in workplace disputes including wrongful discharge, whistleblower and federal and state discrimination claims and provides counsel on workplace issues. She is active in the legal and local communities, currently serving as Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) at-large governor representing the interests of women lawyers in Pennsylvania, a voting member of the House of Delegates and co-vice chair of the Federal Practice Committee. She has been actively involved with the PBA Commission on Women in the Profession (WIP) and in May of 2019 was honored with the Anne X. Alpern Award, recognizing a Pennsylvania women attorney who demonstrates excellence in the legal profession and who makes a significant professional impact on women in the law.
