Chuck Eppolito Elected Pennsylvania Bar Association Vice President

Partner Chuck Eppolito will serve as Vice President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA), effective May 13, 2016, at the conclusion of the PBA Annual Meeting in Hershey, PA. He will become president-elect in 2017 and president in 2018. Chuck has been active in the 27,000-member organization throughout his career, serving as PBA secretary from 2007 to 2010 and chair of the House of Delegates from 2011 to 2013.

Currently the co-chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Leadership Institute, Chuck also served as chair of the PBA Membership Development Committee, of which he is the current co-chair. He is also a Fellow of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation and an investigative panel member for the Pennsylvania Judicial Evaluation Committee. Chuck remains actively involved in the PBA YLD Mock Trial Competition for Pennsylvania high school students.

Chuck has been a PBA House of Delegates member since 2001 and was chair of the PBA Young Lawyers Division (YLD) during the year 2002-03. He has also served as the chair of the PBA Quality of Life/Balance Committee, vice chair of the PBA Health Care Law Committee, co-chair of the 2005-06 PBA Annual Meeting Task Force and co-chair of the PBA Midyear Meeting. He received a PBA President's Award in 2009, the PBA YLD Michael K. Smith Excellence in Service Award in 2007, and a PBA Special Achievement Award in 2006. 

Chuck is a trial lawyer whose practice consists primarily of medical malpractice defense as well as other insurance-related defense, including general negligence, electrical engineering and product liability issues in utilities cases. His clients include hospitals and physicians throughout Pennsylvania, utility companies and insurance carriers, including primary, excess and reinsurance, throughout the nation. He has tried many medical malpractice cases to verdict in jury trials and has arbitrated others to successful resolution.
